We are seeking an entry-level Social Media Handler on a contract basis to join our organization. As a Social Media Handler, you will be responsible for managing our client's social media presence, creating engaging content, implementing social media strategies, and interacting with our audience to drive brand awareness and engagement. You will play a key role in shaping the online presence and growing client’s social media following.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing social media strategies to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and meet marketing goals. You will create and curate engaging content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia, for social media platforms. You will also monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, engaging with our audience and building relationships.
Staying updated with social media trends, industry news, and best practices will be crucial in incorporating into our social media efforts. Collaborating with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives will be important, as well as maintaining brand guidelines, voice, and tone to ensure consistency in all social media communications. You will also stay informed about the industry and competitors to identify opportunities for social media campaigns and content ideas, and suggest innovative strategies.
The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, are required. A deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices is necessary. The ability to create and curate engaging content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia, is essential. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and trends to optimize social media strategies, are required. The candidate should also have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with social media management tools and scheduling platforms is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is necessary.
